To brew a BREWMATES kit at home, you'll need the right equipment. At this time, we don't offer an equipment kit directly from our site. However, there are homebrew shops in most every town. Getting into a shop is a great way to meet fellow brewers and ensure you get the right equipment.
If you don’t have access to a home brewing shop, you can order a basic equipment kit online.
Below, we've listed out the basic requirements to brewing one of our kits at home, as well as links to a few helpful resources to get your started.
- Two 6 Gallon (or larger) Fermenters with Lid
- Airlock & Grommet
- Plastic Siphon assembly with tubing for transferring beer
- 7 Gallon (or larger) Stainless Brew Kettle
- Hydrometer Jar
- 18" Spoon
- Equipment Cleaner & Sanitizer
If you plan on bottling rather than kegging, you will need:
- Bottle Filler
- Bottle Brush
- Bottle Capper
All of this equipment can be purchased together in most starter kits. Visit your local homebrew shop or go online and search for the best option for you.
